The English faculty focus for 2012 is to consolidate the explicit teaching and explicit learning of Super 6 thinking strategies. Implicit to this focus is;
- student understanding and use of metalanguage
- independent use of scaffolds and strategies applied to a variety of texts

In addition the writing focus is on 'PEE'.
